This person will be responsible for organizing work of the committee, managing contacts with the LOC of the AESOP Congress, managing the evaluation of the papers, and presenting the results of the evaluation during AESOP Annual Congress.
According to the AESOP Charter (Art. 16e) the Chair of the AESOP Best Congress Paper Award is an AESOP Official and therefore has to be confirmed by the Council of Representatives.

The Chair of the AESOP Best Congress Paper Award Committee has to be academic from AESOP Member schools. The candidate has to be fluent in English and also has to be familiar with the profile of the Award. Communication and cooperation skills would be appreciated. Involvement in AESOP Best Congress Paper Award Committee and/or experience from the work in editorial boards will be an additional advantage.
The procedure of election includes the selection of the candidates made by the Executive Committee and the confirmation by the Council of Representatives at the CoRep Meeting held during the AESOP Heads of Schools Meeting, in Tirana, 2022.
