Uchendu E. Chigbu is an interdisciplinary Development Researcher with experience in rural development and natural resource (land and water) governance in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is an Assistant at the Chair of Land Management, in the Centre for Land, Water and Environmental Risk Management, Technische Universität München, Germany.
With backgrounds in Estate Management (ABSU, Nigeria), Business Management (Reading, UK) and Land Management (TUM, Germany). He is a member of AESOP Young Academics Network; a Fellow of the African Good Governance Network (AGGN); and the Nigerian Country Vice-President for the International Society of Tropical Foresters (ISTF). His research interests range from land-based approaches to territorial rural and urban development, to relationship of people to land.
