Dr Sebastian Dembski

Sebastian Dembski is a Lecturer in Planning in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Liverpool. His research is concerned with transformation processes in city regions, in particular in the urban periphery. He has also worked on the relationship between governance and law in complex urban planning projects of sustainable urban development. Being knowledgeable on Dutch, German, Swiss and UK planning, much of Sebastian's research takes a comparative perspective. Sebastian has published in leading academic journals on issues of planning. As a programme director for planning in Liverpool he has a strong interest in planning education.
