Mr Geza Salamin

Institute of Geography, Geoeconomics and Sustainable Development (Corvinus University of Budapest)

Geographer (specialized in Regional and urban planning) and Economist.
He co-ordinated the international drafting team of the Territorial Agenda 2020 and the TSP (2009-2011). He was chief planner of national spatial development concepts of Hungary (adopted in 2004 and 2014). He worked in EU networks (ESPON, EUKN, URBACT), being national contact point or MC member. (2008-2014)
Between 2011 and 2013 he worked in the Ministry of National Economy as Head of Spatial Development Planning Department being responsible for regional and urban development strategies and programmes of the MFF 2014-2020.
Between 2012 and 2015 he served as vice-president of the Hungarian Society for Urban Planning, what he still represents at the European Council of Spatial Planners. He has been giving lectures since 2001.
