Call for abstracts for the "Post-pandemic Right to the City" conference - Tirana Design Weeks 2021, POLIS University, Albania

As is the tradition since 2012, POLIS University, in cooperation with the Future Architecture Platform and partners, will organise Tirana Design Weeks during 27 September - 10 October ( This year’s TDW theme is “Health and Wellbeing in the post-Pandemic City”, triggered by a difficult year we left behind and challenges ahead of us.

As part of the TDW2021, we hold during October 1-6, 2021 the “Post-Pandemic Right to the City” international conference (, hosting distinguished keynote and guest speakers, panel debates, 8 thematic sessions, and also pitching sessions for those willing to share innovative ideas, projects, or design prototypes.

Through this announcement we invite you to actively participate in the conference, by applying with your abstract, or concept for pitching sessions, or paper. Submission of papers is optional for presenting participants. For those willing to submit a paper, we will provide peer reviewed publication access in the two POLIS University journals: and


a) The early bird: by April 15, 2021.
b) Regular abstract/concept submission: by May 15, 2021.
c) Full paper submission (optional): by July 31, 2021.
d) Regular registration: by June 30, 2021.

This is a two-step process: First submission of abstracts/concepts; Then registration, upon acceptance of abstract/concept.
