Town Planning Review Call for Viewpoints related to COVID-19

As a rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic Town Planning Review invites 'Viewpoint' contributions that address multi-disciplinary perspectives related to urban planning and the worldwide COVID-19 crisis. Viewpoints may actively engaging discourse on issues ranging from public transit vulnerabilities, to emergency planning and preparedness, to food security and food system adaptations, to the impact of COVID-19 and pandemics on urban density, to disproportionate demographic impacts of COVID-19, from the homeless, to refugees, to low-income communities. All ideas, big and small, philosophical and practical, are welcome, and Viewpoints may touch on various scales of inquiry (local, metropolitan, regional, national, global). The Town Planning Review co-editors especially value contributions that include equity and inclusivity aspects. Authoring a Viewpoint will allow scholars and experts to reflect on the situation and offer a wider lens on the crisis and its potential implications for planning.
