Published at: 12 December 2017

The Institute of Urban Planning and Development of Lille and the laboratory TVES are organizing the 20th edition of APERAU's international meetings in urban planning from 18 to 22 of June, 2018, at the University of Lille.

Deadline for submissions: 22 January 2018.

The 20th International Meeting of the Association for the Promotion of Education and Research in Urban Planning and Development (APERAU), organized by the Institute of Urban Planning and Development of Lille (IAUL) and the laboratory Territories, Cities , Environment and Society (TVES EA 4477), will question one of the ubiquitous terms in the field of urbanism, planning, urban research: the project. The goal will once again be to bring together academics, practitioners, the private world, public institutions and the general public.

The APERAU's International Meeting on Urban Planning brings together researchers and practitioners each year to discuss contemporary urban planning issues related to the development of cities and territories, particularly at the association's annual international conference. International and Francophone, it brings together 41 member institutions in three regional sections: North America, Africa and the Middle East, Europe. The APERAU represents one of the most dynamic French-speaking scientific networks, fully playing the role of the Francophonie and multicultural exchanges in a theme, the city, and more broadly the planning and sustainable development, a considerable challenge to the planetary scale.
