Mr Geza Salamin

Institute of Geography, Geoeconomics and Sustainable Development (Corvinus University of Budapest)

Geographer (specialized in Regional and urban development) and Economist.
Since 2002, he has been working on different structural funds (ESPON, EUKN, URBACT) regarding planning, programming, being coordinator and member state representative.
Between 2011 and 2013 he worked in the Ministry of National Economy as Head of Department being responsible for regional and urban development strategies and programmes of the MFF 2014-2020.
He is currently working in the Hungarian National Bank.
Between 2012 and 2015 he served as vice-president of the Hungarian Society for Urban Planning, what he still represents at the European Council of Spatial Planners. He has been giving lectures since 2001.
