MSc in Architecture - Rehabilitation and Revaluation, full marks (2004), PhD in Spatial Planning (2010) at Politecnico di Torino. Since 2017, after some years of consulting on spatial planning, local development and territorial cohesion, I am Research Assistant in Spatial Planning at the Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning (DIST), Politecnico di Torino. My research focuses on mobility, land use-transport interaction and accessibility, with various approaches, at different scales, in urban and rural contexts. I have also dealt with resilience, governance and local development in rural and mountain areas. On these topics, I authored several publications, have had professional experiences and participated in national and international research projects, among which the COST Action TU1002 Accessibility Instruments for Planning Practice, INTERREG ALCOTRA ARTACLIM Adaptation and resilience to climate change in mountain areas, ESPON URRUC Urban-Rural Connectivity in Non-Metropolitan Regions, and the international project Governing the socio-spatial impacts of autonomous vehicles. I am active member of the Transportation Planning and Policy thematic group of the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP).
