I am very much interested in issues related to urbanisation in developing countries. As a strong believer of the importance of inter-connectivity and inter-depence of urban systems I consider the complexity of the processes that we as planners of tomorrow must learn to work with. As planners we must stay open to multi-disciplinary strategies and consider context specific dynamics of urbanism. Informality in the urbanization process is a concept of primordial importance not only in the global south but in cities all around the world.
