This growing department, which was graded 5A in the 2001 RAE and has a graded Teaching Quality Assessment of 23/24, is seeking to enhance its teaching strengths with the appointment of a Lecturer. The work of the department is undertaken in an interdisciplinary context and is characterised by critical engagement at the interface of social scientific theory and policy. All candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven commitment to international research excellence (or potential to achieve such excellence from a lectureship post) in one or more of the following specialisms: planning theory and practice; urban regeneration, including property; or information management. Candidates will be expected to contribute to teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and to the supervision of doctoral students.
Salary: 33,779 - 40,335 per annum with the potential to progress to 45,397. Ref: R06008.
