Acknowledgment to Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

AESOP would like to thank Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering and express our gratitude for the organization of the 11th AESOP Heads of Schools Back to Agora: European Values and Planning Education.

We wish to thank Professor Pericles Latinopoulos, Head of the School of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering for his cooperation and support. 

We also wish to thank Athena Yiannakou, chair of the Local Organising Committee and Elisabeth Thoidou, Georgia Pozoukidou, and Dionysis Latinopoulos for all their work and dedication to the organization of the AESOP Heads of Schools Meeting and for their contribution to the success of this event. The team from Thessaloniki has shown tremendous dedication to the task and remarkable reliability and we would like to extend our gratitude to the staff of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki helping during the event.

A special acknowledgment goes to Grigoris Kafkalas (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Angelique Chettiparamb (University of Reading), who presented outstanding keynote speeches and to our invited Chairs of the Workshops:  Maros Finka (Slovak University of Technology), Daniel Galland (Aalborg University), Anna Geppert (University Paris IV Sorbonne), Pantelis Skayannis (University of Thessaly) and Paulo Silva (University of Aveiro).

The event has been a great joy and pleasure to all of us, and has been so largely thanks to the work and hospitability of our Greek colleagues, for which we remain grateful.
