April 11-12, 2019

In many countries, metropolitan governance and the dynamics of urban areas are at the centre of policy and research priorities. Reflecting this, the 2019 conference of the French and British Planning Studies Group is being organised around these themes by UMR CITERES, Tours, Val de Loire, France. Papers are invited that address metropolitan reforms and their effects in France and the UK including from a comparative approach. Contributions from other countries which address the conference theme are also welcome. Papers may take the form of case studies, wider reflections on specific country/national situations and contexts, or present comparative analyses of the forms and impacts of metropolitan reform.
